Cafe Writing

Sometimes fewer words are best.
Erase the ordinary
write only extraordinary.
Sacrifice the rest.
Thoughts must simmer first
mull overnight
only write
when word bubbles burst
and each word’s right,
exactly the amount
for every word to count.
Then send it off to the Bright Lights!

  1. Fewer words are really good, they say so much in few words. Interesting piece, well penned.
