MONOKU* (Part 1)

Posted by in on 24-1-13

the dog barks – some faint footsteps

rain the cold night lulls the baby to sleep

coffee cup brewing a haiku in the air

aims at the Jelly Bean baby’s smile

rainy morning the kettle is whistling

a visit to the old wooden shack autumn leaves

asphalt jungle the soothing effect of the breeze

golden the flowers that share the sun

grape vines the main door’s attraction

autumn the last leaf falls to its golden bed

* A monoku is a one-liner haiku.
