You steer clear of checks and stripes.
You don’t box your body in
with fences, penned and caged
but keep your limbs free
of grids and rules and lines to follow,
tracks to restrict, constrict.

You let the wind waft colour washes
marbled like winter sunset skies,
flimsy floating fluid fabrics
to kiss and caress your skin.
You like to be nearly naked
Wearing shadows, reflections.
