The Surging Thoughts

Posted by in on 12-8-12

Some lyrical thoughts
Fill my heart of hearts,
But the emerging poem,
Though sad, is indeed a gem …
Thus are the surging thoughts.

Some budding thoughts
Strike like a thunderbolt.
Instead of showering flowers,
They seek to unite true lovers …
Thus are the surging thoughts.

Some heart-rending thoughts
Pierce from out of joy’s thirst.
They provoke to provide succour
To the starving poor …
Thus are the surging thoughts.

Some stirring thoughts
Drown the mood of angst.
Instead of nasty apprehensions,
They prompt making wise decisions …
Thus are the surging thoughts.

Some pious thoughts
Sneak to douse the flames of lust.
The devotional instinct
Is set for life’s enlightenment …
Thus are the surging thoughts.
